Production and wine making
Cococciola is a rare native vine variety from frentana area, in Abruzzo, cultivated in the Abruzzo’s pergola way. The wine is white, without maceration, and softly pressed; fermentation and aging in stainless steel, at a controlled temperature.
The sparkling wine is made according to the Martinotti method, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a particular pressure condition.
Features of the wine
The color is pale yellow, the scents are of white flowers and citrus with light spicy notes, the taste has vibrant acidity and freshness, fruity and slightly almond-final. It is a wine ready to drink. To be served at 7-9 ° C, very suitable as an aperitif, it goes well with fish dishes delicate flavor. The perlage ensures the persistence of flavor and the pleasure of the palate.
