Production and wine making

Vine native from Abruzzo, presents the cluster of medium size and compact, pyramidal or conical, almost always winged; berries are medium sized, spherical; the color purple, almost black when ripe. Mature in advanced age, first and second week of October. Cultivation of grapes, preparation and aging in the cellar strictly follow the protocols of organic production.

Features of the wine

The wine is characterized by a purple color and is characterized by intense tannins, soft and not very aggressive, with final full and supported by a strong force mining and alcoholic. Pairing pasta dishes, roast meats, cold cuts and cheese at medium-long aging.
