Wine description: Native vine variety from Abruzzi, it
has a bunch of medium dimension and compactness, in pyramidal or conical shape, almost always winged. Grapes are medium-sized, spherical, and have a blackish violet ripe color. It ripens late, during the first twenty days of October. This wine has a deep violet color and is characterized by thick tannins, soft and not very aggressive, scent of cherry and marasca cherry with a full-bodied finish, supported by a great extractive and alcoholic force.
It goes with tasty first courses, roasted meat, cold cuts, medium and long-aged cheese.
