Wine description: This wine is made from selected grapes coming from vineyards with a long-standing suitability
for high quality fruit. Expert farming techniques lead
to a late harvest, aiming to obtain well-developed and flavorful grapes. Winemaking takes place with a prolonged maceration, in order to extract all the color, the tannin and the aromatic compounds to make our noblest Montepulciano wine. At the end of the fermentation, the wine undergoes refining into small oak barrels, for about 18 months, to develop all its strong potential. Showing a vivid ruby red colour with violet highlights, this wine has a remarkable variety of aromas, including hints of spicy wood and scents of ripe red fruit and violets. It is advisable to pour the wine into a decanter some time before drinking, in order to allow it to breathe, and to serve it at 16-18 °C.
