Production and wine making

Montepulciano grapes are vinified with limited contact with the skins, as it’s allowed by the rosé vinification. The must is then fermented at a temperature of 13 ° C, in order to enhance to the maximum the olfactory fineness.

Features of the wine

The wine has a beautiful cherry red color; the nose has a lingering scent of red fruits like raspberry and currant. The palate is round, full-bodied but well balanced and harmonious.

To be served at a temperature of 12-14°C, accompanying delicate pastas and soups, recommended with pizza.

Production and wine making

A careful combination of the autochthonous Cococciola vine varieties, coming from selected vineyards on Frentana hills, allow us to obtain a slightly fizzy and scented wine. The winemaking is made by performing a controlled fermentation on early harvested grapes to better enhance the freshness and liveliness of this wine.

Features of the wine

It is a rare autochthonous grape variety of the Frentana area in Abruzzo. Cococciola is cultivated using the Abruzzo pergola technique. The winemaking requires a soft pressing, fermentation and ageing on stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The color is pale straw yellow, with scents of white flowers, citrus and light spicy notes; on the palate it has a vibrant acidity and freshness, fruity notes with a delicate almond final aroma. It is a quaffable wine.

Food pairings

To be served at 9-11°C, highly recommended as aperitif wine and to start a lunch; it goes well with delicate fish dishes and fried vegetables.

Production and wine making

Autochthonous grape variety from the Adriatic side of the central Apennines (Marche and Abruzzo). Balanced vigor and production. The bunch is medium-small size, cylindrical and elongated, with small, spherical, golden yellow grapes with a strong and thick skin. The must, obtained from a soft pressing, is fermented at a controlled low temperature.

Features of the wine

The wine as a medium intense straw yellow color. At the nose shows pleasant citrusy notes, honey, yellow peach and sometimes a typical beer scent. The taste shows a full-bodied, structured wine, balanced by a good acidity that refreshes the palate. Balance between taste and smell closes a long and persistent final.

To be served at 10-12°C. It can be paired with tasty fish dishes, such as roasted fish and shellfish, but also with white meat, medium-aged cheese, cured meat and first courses.

Production and wine making

Autochthonous grape variety from central Italy, in particular Abruzzo, Lazio and Marche, has vigor and generous production. The bunch, sparse, is medium large, conical, with quite large berries, spherical, golden yellow, characterized by robust peel.
The full maturity of these grapes takes place in late September and this is the period in which they are collected. Vinification includes a soft pressing, and the skins are immediately separated from the must, as befits a white winemaking; fermentation and ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature.

Features of the wine

The wine is pale yellow, rather intense; it reveals pleasant smell, floral notes and hints of white peach. The taste is fresh, balanced with good acidity that clear the palate. The balance between flavor and scent closes long and persistent.

Good pairing with tasty seafood dishes such as shellfish, fried and roasted fish but also meats and matured cheeses.

Production and wine making

100% Montepulciano’s vine variety grapes. After de-stemming, the fermentation on the skins starts for 7-12 days, depending on the characteristics of the year; also follows a malolactic fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks; a part of the wine is aged briefly in large barrels before final cut.
Normally available for consumption in the summer following the harvest.

Features of the wine

The color is deep ruby red, with purple tinge in his youth. Aromas of plum, summer red apple, black cherry and violet. The palate shows a good structure and a remarkable body, despite its nature of young and fresh wine. It should be drunk within two or three years.

It’s a versatile wine that lends itself to the combination with many dishes, from vegetable soups to pasta, from red and white meats to cheeses.
