Production and wine making

Montepulciano grapes are vinified with contact with the skins for about 24 hours. The must is then fermented at a temperature of 13°C, in order to enhance to the maximum the olfactory fineness. Followed by aging on the lees to make the wine more harmonious and persistent taste.

The wine, cherry red, has a lingering scent of wild berries, raspberry, red currant. The taste is pleasant, round.

This wine is a combination between the generosity of the soil and the human experience that, together with the right cultivation systems and punctual harvesting time, allow to obtain this fine and elegant wine. The careful processing of the grapes, and the later step in small capacity barrels, for the fermentation and ageing, allow to preserve and highlight all the scents and the qualities of this wine.

Features of the wine

The wine has an intense yellow color with golden sparkles. At the nose it shows vanilla scents, and pleasant notes of fruit and ripe yellow pulp. At the taste, it brings out softness, well balanced with good structure, and the right amount of acidity that refresh the palate. The balance between taste and smell closes with long and persistent final.

Production and wine making

Made of grapes of the homonymous vine variety. After the crushing-stemming and soft pressing, the juice is subjected to a static cleaning, followed by alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature activated by selected native yeasts. It is then aged in stainless steel tanks for about five months before being bottled.

Production and wine making

Indigenous grape from the Eastern side of the Appennino mountain range (Marche and Abruzzo, Central Italy). The bunch is small and elongated, with round, small berries, golden-yellow coloured when ripe. This Pecorino has a complex nose of citrus, yellow peach, hints of straw and white beer. Rich on the palate, it has good body and structure with a long finish. Good to drink as a young wine, but also suitable for a medium ageing in bottle, to better appreciate its mineral compounds.

Straw yellow color, rather intense. On the nose, pleasant floral notes and hints of white peaches. The palate is fresh and harmonious with a good acidity that cleans the mouth. The balance between flavors and aromas closes long and persistent.

Pecorino complements seafood, pasta with light dressings, fried food, poultry. Delightful also as a sipping wine.

Production and wine making

From grapes, perfectly ripen and macerated with the skins, you get a wine that takes a rest in stainless steel tanks.
Montepulciano 100%. After destemming, the fermentation starts on the skins for 7-10 days depending on the vintage. Malolactic fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel. Normally available to consumption the summer following the harvest.

Features of the wine

Deep ruby red color with purple tinge in his youth. Aromas of plum, red apple and summer violet. The palate shows a good structure and a remarkable body, despite its nature of a young and fresh wine. It should be drunk within two or three years.
